Questions and answers

Your domain stays registered in your name, and we only manage its settings. Care plans run for 12 months at a time, and you can leave at any renewal with 30 days' notice. If you want to take your website with you, we hand the whole site over, ready to host anywhere, for a $490 handover fee.

Care plans and Get found by AI run for 12 months at a time and renew each year. We email you a reminder 60 days before each renewal. If you don't want to renew, just let us know at least 30 days before the renewal date. There's no exit fee.

Your price is fixed for the whole term. If our prices change, the new price only applies from your next renewal, and we tell you 60 days ahead.

If you need to leave partway through a term, you pay the rest of that term. In your first year that's the full remaining months, because the first year covers your build. After that it's capped at 3 months.

A page is up to 8 sections or about 1,000 words. Longer pages take more time to design and build, so they count as two. Blog posts don't count towards your page limit.

Anything that takes us about 30 minutes or less: text, prices, hours, photos, staff, services, reviews, documents, a blog post you send us, and small layout tweaks. Those are unlimited on every care plan.

We work on one request at a time, and start the next as soon as you approve the last one. You always get a preview link to check before anything goes live.

Bigger jobs are $190 each: a new page, a redesigned page, or adding something new like a booking button, video, map or form. Care Plus and Care Boost include one a month.

Yes. If you're on WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or similar, we rebuild your site on our fast, secure hosting: $790 for up to 5 pages or $1,190 for up to 20 pages, each with up to 50 blog posts. Bigger sites are priced with you. Every page and blog post comes across with a light tidy-up, and every old link is redirected so you keep your Google rankings. Rebuilds go live within 10 working days of us getting access to your current site.

Optional extras: a fresh design for $490, rewriting your home, about, services and contact pages for $490, and new pages or features at $190 each. Online stores and member logins are quoted separately.

Every care plan includes the AI basics: AI-readable business details on every page and answer-first FAQs, kept current, so ChatGPT, Google and other AI assistants can read your site properly.

Our Get found by AI add-on ($69/month) goes further. We keep your business details consistent across Google, Bing and directories, check each month what AI assistants say about you, and fix anything that's wrong.

No one can guarantee what an AI assistant will say. We make sure it has the right information about you.

Your website build is a one-off payment, as set out in your quote. Your care plan, and Get found by AI if you add it, are charged monthly to your card or by direct debit. If we look after your domain, that's $80 once a year. All prices are in NZD and exclude GST.

Yes, for $80 a year. We register or transfer your domain (like yourbusiness.co.nz) in your name and handle the renewals and settings, so it never lapses by accident. Prefer to keep it with your current provider? That's fine too, and we'll just connect it.

To keep our websites fast and our prices clear:

• Email hosting isn't something we provide. We'll point you to Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
• Online stores and member logins are quoted separately.
• AI chat assistants and automations, like quote follow-ups and review requests, are quoted separately.
• Ads, social media and logo design aren't part of our website packages. Ask us and we'll talk it through.
